Footstep of the Customized Treatment ～The path to the future～

We are pleased to hold the "Annual Meeing of ACT” again this year!

In this meeting, we'd like to share new information while reviewing the knowledges we learned last year. 
Also, we hope this event will be a place where members can deepen their interactions and provide mutual stimulation.

We will further explore the difficult and new fields of Aesthetic dermatology, and existing treatment methods with our members while aiming to continue to grow together with our members by considering safe treatment.

We hope this meeting will be a place for everyone to gain new knowledge, and, through enthusiastic exchanges, will be an opportunity for you to take a further step forward.

１．Footstep of the Academy of Customized Treatment (ACT).
Dr. Seiko Kou will talk about the transition of customized treatment and study groups, and Dr. Kenjiro Takei will talk about his third suvey through Instagram on customized treatment.

2. Path to the board-certified doctor of ACT.
Dr. Motoko Ueda, Dr. Itomi Yoshihara, and Dr. Koki Iha, who became board-certified doctors in 2024, will talk about their reasons for aiming to become board-certified doctors, what they have done so far, their recent efforts, and other memorable cases and episodes. Dr. Kaori Tsukamoto will also report on the launch of the seminar and future plans.
This is a must-see for members who aim to become an board-certified doctor of customized treatment, including advices from commentators.

Luncheon seminar
We are pleased to welcome Dr. Haksu Kim and Dr. Sangsu Lee from South Korea. Dr. Kim has extensive clinical experience specializing in customized treatment. Dr. Lee is a board member of ASLS (Aesthetic Surgery and Laser Society), one of the largest aesthetic societies in South Korea. 

At the seminar, they will discuss about the differences between Japanese and Korean aesthetic medicine and the possibilities of ultrasound treatment, which is still in early stage in Japan. They will also introduce the "Ultrasound Research Group" they founded lately and share their vision to collaborate with Japanese doctors through the ACT.

This must be a valuable opportunity to review Japanese aesthetic medicine from a Korean perspective. We look forward to your participation.

3.  Director's plan : Customized treatment and Art.
We will invite Mr. Kenichi Muraoka (https://iryoart.com/), the principal of the School of Medicine and Art, as a special lecturer. We hope this will be an opportunity for all of you who are professionals involved in aesthetic medicine to gain hope and learn from each other.

4. Footstep of the Acne treatment team.
This year, new staging rules have been established to assess the severity of acne and guide its treatment. These rules enable a standardized discussion of acne’s pathological conditions and treatment goals, benefiting not only medical professionals but also patients.
In this session, we will review the activities of the acne treatment team, led by Dr. Kyoko Hisata, Dr. Waka Ishida, Dr. Naotaka Kobayashi, and Dr. Rumiko Kawasaki. Additionally, we will explore future possibilities for rejuvenation and the staging of redness, rosacea, and acne scars.

5. Evolution of customized treatment
With the development of radio frequency and ultrasound devices, it has become possible to treat sagging skin as well as skin treatment. We plan to have Dr. Seiko Kou, Dr. Ritsuko Asahi, Dr. Kenjiro Takei, and Dr. Jun Sugawara view cases from their own facilities and deeply discuss the possibilities of future customized treatment and current issues. Furthermore, Dr. Kotone Horie and Dr. Nao Kou will talk about how customized treatment has changed at the forefront of clinical practice and how they have learned through their experiences.

6. Footstep of the Interprofessional work (IPW) in Aesthetic medicine
One of the three pillars of customized treatment is a team medical care. We will share with you what we should value as seen through the activities of aesthetic nurses who support customized treatments, led by Ms. Michiko Fujii, Ms.Yuko Tadokoro, Ms. Yuki Senju, and Ms. Mami Kobayashi from the Nurses Association. We hope you can feel the large circle of ACT that has spread from north to south.
