囲碁喫茶で開催していた、『英語de囲碁会』。
今回は２回目のオンライン開催となります！
The "English Go Meetup" has been held at the Go Cafe.
This will be the second time they've held it online!
英語で話しながら対局や検討をしていきますので、会話の練習だけでなく英語の囲碁用語なども学ぶことができます。
We will play games and review them while speaking in English, so you can not only practice conversation but also learn English Go terms.
以下のような志を持って参加してくださるメンバーを大募集！
・英語を話せるようになりたい
・囲碁を通して国際交流をしたい
・日本語を話せないから英語の囲碁会に参加したい
We are looking for members who have the following aspirations!
"I want to learn to speak English."
"I want to make international exchanges through Go."
"I don't speak Japanese, so I want to participate in an English Go group."
対局は棋力や気分に合わせて19路盤か13路盤を選べます。
入門・初心者の方は講師と練習対局ができます。
囲碁初心者の方も英語初心者の方もお気軽にご参加ください！
You can choose to play either 19X19 or 13X13 Go board depending on your ability and mood.
Beginners can play a game with the instructor.
Whether you are a beginner in Go or an English beginner, feel free to join us!

講師 Instructor
ニュージーランド出身。Born in New Zealand.
囲碁はアマチュアトップクラスの腕前。ニュージーランド囲碁チャンピオン。He is a top class amateur Go player. New Zealand Go Champion.

英語は読み書きは得意ですが会話が苦手な、典型的な日本人です。
海外の方に英語で囲碁を教える機会も多いので、英語のスキルアップをしたいです！
I am good at reading and writing English, but I am not good at conversational English.
I have many opportunities to teach Go in English to people from other countries, so I need to improve my English skills!
