The Woodlands Tea Terrace (Satoyama curing Plan)
The Sasama district of Shimada City is surrounded by beautiful mountains, clear streams, and tea plantations.
Ms. Natsuki, the owner of Miyama Tea Farm, which has taken root in the area for more than 130 years, will teach you how to make a delicious cup of green tea.
This is a plan to feel the sun, wind, and nature in the satoyama while drinking three kinds of tea according to the season, and to cure your body and mind.
It is a leisurely 10-minute walk from the reception area.
Please wear comfortable walking clothes and shoes.

Please note that the road access to The Woodlands Tea Terrace is closed to traffic.

The full road closure on Route 473 has been lifted, and the road is now open to traffic on a one-way alternating traffic system. Please take the Shin-Tomei Shimada-Kanaya Interchange and take Route 473.
[Access from Shizuoka area]
National Route 362 is closed to traffic and cannot be passed through. (Google Map may not show the route).
If you are using the Shimada-Kanaya Bypass, please get off at the Mukuya IC. If you are using the New Tomei Expressway, please get off at the Shimada-Kanaya IC and take Route 473.
